Challenge: Impress a crowd of seasoned Association Executives who know the in's and out's of conventions and have seen it all.

Solution: Create a stunning and spectacular backdrop for projection using a wall of water behind the stage, and immerse the audience in images using an eight screen surround display.

Description: When FJO Productions needed to amaze an audience of over 3,000 seasoned Association Executives, they turned to Hi-Tech for a creative and innovative solution. Since this convention set-up did not pose any particular logistical or technological problems, the challenge was simply to make an otherwise straightforward event into something remarkable. Rather than turn to traditional lighting and standard projection tricks, Hi-Tech made a spectacular splash with a 12 foot high by 24 foot wide water curtain positioned center stage. This wall of water became a shimmering backdrop that added amazing sound and texture to the scene. Hi-Tech projected key messaging and imagery onto this water screen to further bring this centerpiece to life.

To create a sense of immersion in the audience and make each of the over 3,000 attendees feel included, Hi-Tech surrounded the audience with eight huge screens. Video was projected in sync across all of the screens to reach all areas of the event space. The results were impressive. The client was pleasantly surprised at the creativity and ingenuity Hi-Tech displayed. The unique solution of a water wall and the surrounding screens to address the larger audience made a strong impression on the client, and reinforced Hi-Tech's reputation as the one to turn to for high impact.
